Saying Good-bye to “Alleluia” – Presentation by Sunday School

The Church has the custom of not speaking or singing the word “Alleluia” during Lent.  Alleluias are joyful proclamations, which we put away during the more contemplative season of Lent. Putting it away for Lent is like putting away a favorite toy for a while – to appreciate it better later.

PANCAKE BREAKFAST – Immediately following service

After Mass, we will gather in the Great Hall for a Mardi Gras Pancake Breakfast on this last Sunday in Ordinary Time before Lent.  All you can eat pancakes, sausage, bacon and King Cake – $12 per adult/$5 for children under 10.
